We were taught to go to work for most of our work lives to save or make enough money to invest and live on for the last few years of our lives. How to make extra money online, or otherwise, was not a course we received.
No one taught us, anywhere in school, that we could have a business for extra money making that would generate the $5000, $10000 or more that we need each month to pay our bills.
If we have enough money that comes in each month without going to work,to pay our bills every month – do the rules change?
We have learned to live a rat race. We go to work to get money so we can pay our bills. We pay our bills and then we need more money to pay the bills next month. The only way we can get more money is to trade more of our time.
But we are working all these years to save up money to give monthly income so that we can have more time (retirement) to enjoy. In essence, we forfeit all of the time for most of our life to achieve a few years of more time late in life.
Why?
Why are we not focussing on how to make extra money from the beginning of our work lives?
There are three steps to achieving cash flow:
1. Be a smart consumer. Use your buying power to generate affiliate commissions on your own purchases. You want to be healthier so you decide to drink a superfood based juice. Every month when you buy your juice, the manufacturer sends you a commission check.
2. Focus your marketing efforts. Most small businesses have separate marketing efforts. If there are ten distributors, they market separately and in reality, in competition with each other. Marketing is far easier and more effective when you focus, pool, and share for extra money making
3. Be the expert in your field. When just starting out, borrow expertise from those who have been in the business longer than you have. Learn from them as they help you market. Do videos, write articles, and visit with prospective buyers.
Concentrate on how to make extra money by helping others make extra cash without giving up their job. Once your business is producing $1,500 per month or more, marketing becomes much easier. The ways to make extra money become much easier to see.
